About: Royal Free Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

Once again I owe my continued existence to the prompt and expert action of the PARRT team and cardiologists of the Royal Free Hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest, which earns them my undying gratitude. After my unexpected survival the care in the Intensive Care and Coronary Care units was exemplary.

At every level from Consultants to cleaners my treatment was impeccable.

What could be improved

The FOOD.No matter what it was described as apart from breakfast, all the cooked dishes tasted the same, but I recognize the difficulty attending the feeding of the patient population.

Thanks for the feedback – we’re delighted to hear that your experience in coronary care and intensive care worked out so well and we’ll pass your comments onto everyone concerned.

We’re making every effort to improve the experience patients have in the trust and the food is one of the areas which we are trying hard to get right. As you are aware, this is not an overnight process but we are confident that we are making progress in this area.
