About: South West London And St George's Mental Health NHS Trust

(as the patient),

As a patient of Cheam Recovery & Support Team I am told I will get a copy of letters to my. GP. I am seen regularly by the same consultant and have had no letters since Jan

My GP has also not had all the letters. specifically I was seen on last month and I was to see my GP in two weeks for a alteration of medication. No letter came to me or my GP. After I phoned patient helpline my GP had a fax. On the 3rd June I received a letter to myself dated mid May.

Dear Maggie, my name is Jane Healey and I am one of the Patient Experience Leads for the Trust. I am very sorry to hear about the negative experience you have had with the Cheam CMHT and would like to apologise for the difficulties you have had in receiving correspondence with the service.

I have passed your comments onto the CMHT and will be asking the Team Manager for assurance that you, and all other service users, will be receiving correspondence in a timely manner.

If you would like me to investigate this further as a formal complaint then please feel free to contact the Patient Experience Department on 0203 513 6150 and we will be happy to take this forward for you.

Kind regards

Jane
