I had a partial hip replacement a few years ago done at Crosshouse hospital Ayrshire and this had caused me a lot of pain ever since and I have had numerous appointment with the surgeon. I had an MRI in April 2015 and because the surgeon I normally see was ill andI did not see him, again until a few days ago when he said it looked as though my hip was alright but maybe pain was coming from my pelvis.
I had blood tests done and am not due to see him again until late next month this year. I am not satified with this long delay as I am in a lot of pain with walking and everyday activities. The surgeon also said that in hindsight he should have done a complete replacement the first time and I would not have suffered all this pain.
My quality of life has been seriously curtailed as I was used to playing golf and walking a lot.
