What could be improved

I had an outpatient appointment in the maxillofacial surgery department. I left two hours after my appointment time without having been seen and with several patients still in front of me. No apologies or explanations were volunteered.

When a lady asked a nurse about the delay, the nurse was apologetic and said it was because the department double-booked and the consultants had been in a meeting that morning. This shows a complete lack of respect for patients.
