"why can't you have an appointment for phlebotomy ?"

About: Altrincham General Hospital

i know a lot of people like drop in services but as a working person who needs regular blood tests I find the unpredictable waiting very inconvenient I think you should have a mixture of booked and drop in

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to learn that your experience when visiting the new hospital was not as positive as we would hope.

A review of the phlebotomy service will be undertaken to ensure that the Trust is meeting the needs of the patients who attend the clinic for blood tests, and is able continue to provide an excellent Phlebotomy Service to our patients. This will include looking at the mix of booked and ‘drop in’ patient appointment slots available. The phlebotomy service is also currently recruiting staff to help with the increase in service demand.

On behalf of the Trust please accept our apologies and assurance that your comments have been taken seriously and acted upon.
