Please accept my very grateful thanks to everyone who helped care for me during my – fortunately fairly short – stay in the ward. Having a stroke, even if not a major one, when you’re normally very healthy is unsettling to say the least and at times terrifying. All the staff I met in Lavant Ward did everything in their power not just to care for me physically but to reassure me and put my mind at rest. Taking the time to do so was particularly welcome and I’m sure helped the healing process. Thank you again, I really am very grateful for your stellar care.

Thank you for taking the time to post this comment. We shall make sure that the staff on Lavant ward are made aware of your appreciation, and they will be delighted to hear that you felt reassured. It must have been a horrible experience for you and the way in which the staff have put your mind at rest has undoubtedly helped the healing process, as you say. This type of care is a very important part of the patient experience. Thank you so much for the feedback.
