"Car Parking"

About: Halton Hospital

I have no complaints to make about the care I had when I had a knee replacement operation last February. What I do object to is having to pay £3 to park my car with a Blue Disabled Badge. I think it is utterly disgusting to expect people in the same situation to have to pay. None of the notices in the car park told you were the ticket machines were either. You do not know how long you are going to be in the car park and it did not say anything outside about doing it when you leave if you do go over the 30 minutes free. I found this out on this site.

Thank you for your feedback Janice. Pleased that the care you received was good. You are right that our parking system has changed and all users do have to pay for parking now. The system allows patients and visitors to pay on exit from the car park once you know how long you have been on site for. We have improved the signage across our car parks to explain this and hope that it will be clearer on any future visits.
