What could be improved

when my mum was kept in over night after going to a&e i left her at 2 am where she then was left to sleep in her clothes and without a drink even after she asked for water to take her medication. she finally got a glass of water in the morning. when i got to her in the morning she was still in her clothes and hadnt had a wash which she does need assistance with as she has no feeling to hot or cold. Topping of the lack of basic care came when i went to pick up her medication that afternoon and it was for a completely different problem to what we had gone in for. after going back up to ask why they had prescribed what they had we got told that if we wanted to find out what was causing the problem we had gone ther for we was told that we would have to go back through a&e all over again and ther night before had been a waste of time.
