"Endoscopy Department - Gastroscopy - Outstanding..."

I visited the the Endoscopy department at Pembury on the 29th of May for a gastroscopy examination. The actual process is never a pleasant experience but the service I received from all the staff in the unit was absolutely superb. My appointment was scheduled for 8:45am and I was seen on time and left the unit less than 40 minutes after arriving. The nurse who checked me in and talked me through the procedure did an excellent job of putting me at my ease and ensuring that I was aware of the options and what was going to happen. The team who conducted the gastroscopy all took the time to introduce themselves and explain what was going to happen and continually checked to make sure that I was ok. The procedure was quick and painless with a clear and full explanation of the findings being provided at the end. Thank you all for being so caring and for doing such an excellent job
