"Labour ward care"

About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital

I was taken by paramedics to the labour ward on Sunday morning with intense stomach pains. This is my first experience of Stoke Mandeville as my prenatal care has been at High Wycombe so far. I can't speak highly enough of all of the staff I met. The midwives and doctors were kind, caring, informative, professional, experienced, warm and understanding. They filled me with confidence that everything was being done to make sure the baby was ok. And nothing seemed to much trouble even though obviously (as always in this line of work) they were very busy. I think it's probably at the top of my hospital experiences. This is my second baby so I have something to compare with and I really think they are doing an outstanding job. I can't thank them enough.
