"You are all superstars!"

My 14 month old boy took ill yesterday evening I rushed from work to home to get him to A&E. I was greeted by a lovely receptionist who made me feel at ease. What felt like a lifetime waiting to see someone which in reality wasn't a lovely young nurse chatted and did the first check of my little man. The nurse made him smile which in turn give me faith I was in the right place. A lovely locum doctor completed some further tests and although what seemed like 20 questions they were very thorough. A real asset in a Friday night in Wakefield A&E. And the smile we received Saturday morning (today) when they saw us leaving and remembered my little boys name gave me hope that there are kind people and the NHS is never going to be a lost hope whilst ever these amazing people are there. Finally we were moved to Peadritrics where we met the kindest and gentle person I've met and does an amazing job as a charge nurse with the organisation. I hope my comments can be passed on your staff are a living inspiration !!
