"Disappointed with A&E"

About: Musgrove Park Hospital (Taunton)

On Thursday evening I brought my mother to A&E 10:45pm as advised by 111 NHS Direct because she was experiencing a terrible nose bleed (both nostrils), she was panicking a little because this had never happened before. It just started to bleed for no reason. The receptionist was very matter of fact and didn't seem to show any concern towards my mother when I booked her in. We sat there for an hour and in that time only one person was called from the waiting room. I asked if we were next by was told there was still someone in front of her! Fortunately the bleeding stopped so as she had calmed down some we decided to go home. It was now midnight. I'm sorry to say but the waiting time is far to long, it didn't even seem that busy that night!
