I have been under the care of the rheumatology team since January 2014, I have my main consultant, however I have seen several members of her team including Registrars and Rheumatology Specialist Nurses. Throughout that time I feel I have been given the best possible treatment, listened to with patience and empathy, involved in discussions about my seemingly rare condition and generally treated extremely well and with respect for my feelings. At no time have I ever felt that I am being a nuisance, even when I ask seemingly silly questions or repeat myself. Having previously been admitted for four weeks with septicaemia and septic arthritis, which led onto my involvement with Rheumatology, I had also been treated on the wards with respect, dignity and good humour amongst the staff. I cannot in anyway fault any of the wards or departments that I have had dealings with and would like to say thank you for everything they are currently doing for me.
