What I liked
I was able to find a parking space on every visit.
What could be improved
Victory Ward is supposedly a rehabilitation ward, but my father was banned from using a walker (which he had been allowed to use in the general ward), and given medications he didn't need and didn't want. Whilst a few of the staff very helpful, the nurses were extremely unfriendly, and one visit I was told off 3 times for 3 different things (giving my father some water when he was thirsty, bringing him in a cassette player with headphones, sitting on his bed). Apart from the short physiotherapy sessions there seemed to be no attempt to get patients back on their feet - quite the opposite, in fact. Eventually we insisted that my father was moved to a different facility - and thank goodness he was.
Anything else?
My experience of visiting other wards has been much better, and A&E is very good.
