"Disatified with how to make an appointment"

About: King's Mill Hospital

I originally went to my doctors about the Sti I have on my eye in March. I was told I would get an appointment before my wedding day (Middle of May). I called the appointment line and was given the date of 04th June (3 weeks after my wedding day which didn't help me). So not only did I look horrible in my wedding photos I was disappointed that the hospital didn't not even offer an emergency appointment. I called yesterday to re-arrange my appointment on the 04th June and I spoke to a member of staff who said they would get the Ophthalmology unit to call me to re-arrange my appointment. (I'm still waiting no call back has been made). So I called today and the same person put me through to the ophthalmology department where I was on hold for 25mins. Obviously no one answered so I call the Appointment line again and spoke to the same person who then offered me an appointment 16th July. I would have been waiting for 4mnths from my original appointment with my GP to get my eye drained!! This is ridiculous and I feel sick that my tax money I pay cant even get me and appointment when I need it the most!! Thanks a lot Kings Mill Hospital the £3billion spent was worth the improvement and the excuse is that the Doctors Ill!!! that's not a good enough reason.
