"A&E and AS I are great"

About: Hinchingbrooke Hospital

My father in law has constantly been in and out of Hinchingbrooke over the last year. Each time he has been looked after well. Many people moan about any hospitals a&e waiting times. Yes it can be frustrating when your waiting 3 hours with a bad cut or broken bone. But be assured your not being made to wait for the sake of it. Just because you can't see what's going in the Drs and nurses are working on very poorly people. I see it that if your waiting see it as your better to wait then be the poor person being rushed in. Huge gratitude to all nurses and HCAs on all wards visited. The Drs, well they are like hospital DRs everywhere. They are clever and know their stuff, but bedside manner is left to the nurses. They do what they need and go. This is not a criticism, but an observation. It's good you have best of both worlds, drs how know their stuff and nurses who care. All round Hinchingbrooke is a great hospital. I think people forget that it's a 24/7 service, and can be a incredibly hard job. Most times you get lovely staff, but there is a few staff with a little desired. But they are humans not robots.
