About: Cheltenham General Hospital

sent from Stroud OOHs over the bank holiday weekend with possible blood clot behind eye in terrific pain. Seen immediately. Treated with respect, care & great kindness by all staff, triage nurses, doctors & receptionists. Looked after my every need, kept me in overnight, blood tests, pain control & reassurance. In the end felt tremendous guilt when turned out to be a 3 day debilitating migraine & felt I'd taken a bed that could have gone to someone else - not at all ! They reassured me again I had done the right thing. What a superb NHS service. What lovely people who showed a great duty of care. Thank you.
