I collapsed at home from heart attack. Paramedic treated me, ambulance transported me to Russells Hall Hospital A&E where tests were carried out. I was transferred via E. A. U to Cardiac Care Unit, blood tests and ECG etc showed I had suffered heart attack.
Transferred to Cardiac Care main ward and connected to 24 hour monitoring. I remained there over 2 nights and days and was constantly checked by nurses and doctors including Cardiac Consultant Dr Barr I was discharged with new drugs provided and told to rest and not drive for 4 weeks.
I have since received an appointment for follow up in 3 weeks. The attention and care I received can not be faulted, it was 1st class and I would like my thanks and gratitude to be passed to all concerned.
"My thanks and gratitude"
