On my first visit to the Urology OP department for a flexible cystoscopy I was kept waiting for four hours. Just told to go and find a cup of coffee. I was not informed of the outcome of the investigation other than I needed further procedures. The second time I needed ananaesthetic and found everyone to be very kind. The Consultant hurriedly told me I needed a referral to gynae. (When? By whom?) My third visit for urodynamics was the worst experience of my life. The person in charge was rude and insensitive throughout. I shall never return. Two weeks later I visited my GP who knew nothing whatsoever of the first two procedures but assured me they would investigate.
