"My Mother has eaten nothing due to sickness in..."

About: Wythenshawe Hospital

My mother was admitted on Tuesday 19th May for sickness where she was immediately given a bag of glucose and anti sickness medication and she was looked after extremely well. She was then taken to ward A10 and again looked after, then she was moved to A9! she has had no food and been continually vomiting on sips of water, she had a scan last Thursday where a blockage was found between her stomach and bowel, and still nothing has been done. To top this off she had an appointment for the Heart clinic yesterday 26th May and instead of the consultant being brought to her, she was taken an hour early and sat in the clinic and left unattended because the porter was due to finish their shift! The Heart specialist was amazing and disgusted that they hadn't been asked to visit her on the ward. A Doctor tried on Friday to put a intravenous needle in and failed so the fluids she needed on Friday have not been given or retried! How long can a human last being sick and no food at all it is now months since she has eaten she was managing on 40sips but cannot consume them now! I fear she has been left to die! 12 months ago my mum was bubbling and well she has lost 7 stone in a few months and I fear the worst!!
