Absolutely awful hospital. I went there today at 2pm 31 weeks pain, and no movement. Day case were brilliant and put a monitor on baby. They then asked me to go upstairs to see a dr. On labour ward I witnessed a midwife shout at a vulnerable lady who was clearly in pain. I sat there for 2 hours before a midwife took me to a room. 1 hour later my parking ticket ran out so I told them and nipped downstairs to put a new one on. Upon my return someone else was in my room. I went to ask the midewifes where I should go, 5 of them was stood there and not 1 acknowledged me stood there for 7 minutes until I interrupted. I was then asked to go and sit back in the waiting room 20 minutes later I was taken to another room and asked to get undressed and lay on the bed where someone would be with me shortly. After laying there for 3 hours naked and not knowing what they were planning to do. No doctor came and my parking ticket ran out again. I got dressed and went to speak with the midwife to say I need to put a new permit on. I was shouted at for standing up when I had to lay down, although no one said this to me I didn't even know why I was laying down. The doctor who had just came on spoke to the midwife as if I did not exist and said 'I will not be seeing her until I am ready' needless to say I am upset and appalled at the treatment given. I will not be giving birth in that hospital. The worst patient care I have seen and I work within the medical industry myself. My partner could not come with me as he was working out of time and is devastated at the treatment. I shall be complaining.
