"Happy end"

About: Frimley Park Hospital (Frimley)

Before giving birth I read reviews of former patients myself in an attempt to guess how is it going to be. I always wondered if the outstanding rating is accurate and up to date and now, once everything is over, I can confirm the services are truly amazing. I did not have an easy delivery (lots of pain before epidural, wrong position of baby, episiotomy and forceps, damaged bladder, excruciating pain at breastfeeding, not enough milk in the first days, catheter back in place, pain, pain, pain). However, the people around were great and helped me a lot ( and here I mean real interest in me and my child, more than just doing one's job). In particular I remember the efforts of two midwives to help me with the breastfeeding - I probably owe you the fact that I have now more than enough milk and the baby is thriving. The midwife who assisted me during delivery was so kind and kept on reassuring me when I was nervous and scared. I probably got in touch with 50 diff people during the week I spent there and 95% of them are truly exceptional (there were also 2 which should go for another job but they did not ruin the overall picture). Anyway, giving birth is not a bed of roses, I am glad I was in the right place and I was able to receive so much help to get me back on track again.
