"Satisfactory"

About: Good Hope Hospital

My partner came into A&E and was directed into the majors because he was confused and not well due to an infection, he was seen promptly and most of the staff were professional. The only problem I had was a staff member in the majors was extremely rude and unprofessional in which this staff member snapped at him and looked at my partner like he was disgusting. It shouldn't have happened, I can understand that in this work environment staff members can get stressed but it was completely uncalled for and every one should be treated equally and this staff member shouldn't judge people on the way they look it is disgusting behaviour.

Dear Anonymous

Thank you for your feedback regarding your partner's recent experience in Good Hope Hospital Accident and Emergency Department.

I am pleased to read that your partner was treated promptly and that you felt most of the staff were professional in their manner.

I am concerned to read your comments regarding an individual member of staff and would like to highlight this appropriately. I do require more information and would appreciate it if you could contact me at your convenience. You can either call me on 0121 424 0808 or by email: marie.helebert@heartofengland.nhs.uk.

I look forward to hearing from you.

With Kind Regards

Marie Helebert
