I have just returned from a Derby neurology appointment with my consultant. From the moment I arrived i was treated with respect and kindness. On seeing my consultant they examined me thoroughly, told me I had Parkinson's (Both myself and my GP suspected as much) and explained what it might mean to me. The consultant then prescribed me some drugs to begin treatment and took the time to introduce me to a member of staff from the Parkinsons support group in Derby. I must say having read some of the other reviews herein I approached the whole appointment with some trepidation. I need not have worried... I could not have been given a better experience considering the diagnosis. The staff, the consultant, and indeed the staff from the local support group were all wonderful and supassed all that I had expected. I'm so grateful that I chose Derby for my consultation. Thank you to all concerned.
"Newly diagnosed with Parkinson', superb treatment."
