What I liked
the staff on Frederick Hewitt children's ward - very pleasant, happy, lovely people who were reassurring to me and my daughter, and left her feeling at ease with being treated. Prompt treatment.
What could be improved
the cleanliness, especially paediatric A&E which was appalling - dust, dirt, blood on the floor, no clean sheet on the bed, poor access to water and pain relief, doctors frequently ignoring patients in pain/buzzers going off.
Anything else?
in general this hospital needs to readdress it's cleanliness issues- particularly in A&E.
