What I liked

I had my first baby at St Georges's; the facilities were excellent and the staff very professional. I was guided through each step of the delivery and felt that I was in control of my birth. The delivery suite was well equipped and I took comfort in the fact that the newborn intensive care unit was next door to the delivery suite as my baby was 4 weeks pre-term.

What could be improved

The toilet/shower facilities were not cleaned as frequently as I would have expected and had been left for several hours in a dirty condition.

Your comments about the standard of cleanliness have been passed on to the Facilities General Manager who has overall responsibility for cleaning and also the Matron for Gwillim Ward.
