"referral back to endocrinology after being..."

I visited the doctor in late march for a blood test after they noticed a swelling on my neck bloods came back normal when I went for my results ,while I was there they still noticed the swelling on my neck so I got sent for a scan which came back that I could possibly have a goitre on my neck and also I have got a swollen isthmus this was at beginning of April I got referred back to the endocrinology department since I got discharged in December and I've now been waiting nearly 8 weeks to get a letter to go back in and see them but I still haven't received a letter or phone call, it's really annoying me and my doctor has chased it up and we still haven't heard anything back and I still have the swelling on my neck and I'm sure its getting worse, it's really frustrating me that nearly 2months on I'm still waiting for a appointment
