I took my mother to this hospital although I thought she had a bed in aaeu waiting for her, but she didn’t. The receptionist was very caring and apologetic in which really wasn’t their fault. I was referred to the minor unit a&e. when I arrived the same receptionist was just changing over for break cover and was again so caring and efficient. My mother is 89 years old and there was a problem in the department with not enough doctors and a 5 hour wait on top of the 2 hour wait we had already had. The receptionist apologised again not their fault but I felt they valued their patients. Although I did not get chance to thank them personally I did ask a colleague to do so. They put up with a lot of verbal patients but kept calm. Credit to them. Thank you
