Throughout my stay at St Michael's hospital i was extremely impressed with the level of care I received. I had a natural birth followed by a complication that required me to go into theatre. Despite this being a scary time for both me and my husband, I was reassured and comforted by the staff in the delivery suite (level c). I was then transferred up to a ward and received fantastic support during the feeding difficulties I was experiencing. I was in hospital for 3 nights and throughout that time was regularly checked on by the midwives and support staff. They were all friendly and couldn't do enough for me even during busy periods. They also encouraged me to stay in hospital until I was happy bread feeding on my own. The food was also excellent. A range of hot and cold food was provided throughout the day and it was a good standard. I really can't say enough good things about this hospital and highly recommend it to anyone considering their options for having a baby. Amazing team!!
