"First class care"

(as the patient),

Had Sinus Surgery in April at PGH. I had a rocky journey getting there (see other entry) but the care I received on the day was first class.

From the moment I entered the unit the staff were brilliant. I was treated with dignity and respect. I was kept fully informed throughout about procedure and times. You would not believe the difference good communication makes.

Post-op I was made to feel safe and was well cared for. Even when I had a bleed everyone kept their heads and acted in a professional manner. Nothing was too much trouble.

I would like to thank Dr Zacheria and his team and all the staff involved in my care. A massive thanks in particular to Karen Baterip who was my nurse from start to finish. I would appreciate if you could pass this to the relevant teams as I thought it was better to put this public so people can see credit where it is due. THANK YOU.
