What I liked

I visited the Camberwell sexual and reproductive health centre on Denmark Hill. What a fantastic, modern, welcoming resource. Greeted at the door by friendly, helpful staff member who helped me to access the computerised information and booking system - a really high-quality service. The doctor who saw me was extremely kind, patient and informative. Despite very heavy workload, they gave me all the time and support I needed and never made me feel rushed.

What could be improved

Waiting time was very long (about 4 hours) - it's a drop-in service. It would be nice to have the option to be able to book an appointment.

I went to have an IUS fitted and found out that this can only be done on certain days, dependent on when the right doctors are present. It would be helpful to have this information available in advance, to save a wasted journey.

I am sorry however, that your experience around waiting times and appointment bookings has not been so positive and I will make sure your concerns and suggestions are passed to the Sexual and Reproductive Health Centre Manager.

We report back quarterly on comments and suggestions received and what we have done about them and this information will be posted on our website. Thank you again for your kind comments which are very much appreciated.
