What I liked
The staff were very pleasant and helpful most of the time.
What could be improved
It wasn't made clear from the start that there was a designated nurse which attended to all of your needs. Also the surgeon could have kept to his word and arrived to see me when he said he would instead of being 1 hour late and expecting me to wait for him. Patients are expected to arrive on time for their appointments they should be given the same respect by the surgeons they aren't special.
Anything else?
I would have hoped to have been seen within the 18 week guide line but wasn't, I was told my particular surgeon thought he was a law unto himself and that came from a member of staff it says it all really.
I would also excpect there to be a set charge for the parking when attending the day surgery unit but that doesn't seem to be the case instead it cost us £25 to park for the day as it was not wise to leave then come back as it would probably have been difficult to find a parking space later in the day, I think the over charging of the parking is disgusting and should be looked at.
