"Given the opportunity for a decent quality of life"

About: Arnold Lodge Regional Secure Unit

(as the patient),

When I was admitted to Arnold Lodge I was impulsive, passive aggressive and unable to understand my emotions. During my time there I was shown how to recognise my emotions and learnt how to express myself assertively.

I underwent various treatment groups and one to one therapies that gave me confidence and a greater sense of self esteem. I was well cared for and I can honestly say that Arnold Lodge gave me the opportunity to have a decent quality of life.

Furthermore during my time at Arnold Lodge I was able to study for a social science degree which I have now achieved.

Thank you to all the staff for their excellent work.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your very positive comments about your treatment at Arnold Lodge. It is really great to hear that you felt well cared for and that we were able to give you the opportunity to progress whilst being a patient with us.

We all feel very proud that we have given you the confidence to successfully move on from here.

I will share your feedback and pass on your praise to all the staff at Arnold Lodge for the excellent work they do everyday with both you as well as all of the other patients that we care for. I would like to take this opportunity to wish you every success in the future.
