While at Sandaybay holiday park on Sat.16th May i needed medical attention and was admitted to Wansbeck Hospital due to breathing problems and remained until discharged on Thursday afternoon on 21st May. The quality of care was second to none from the highest member of my medical team ( they made me feel as if they were there just for me ) to the most junior member of the nursing team, to the ambulance crew nothing was too much trouble, all questions were answered so i was able to understand, constant care and friendly interaction, meals were delicious although i found it difficult to understand why wards were slightly different with the drinks and breakfast trolley ward 2 served hot chocolate at night but not ward 3 ( an abrupt no we don't do that on here another ward offered toast at breakfast and again on ward 3 an abrupt we don't do that on here, only minor things but when one member of staff talks to poorly people in that manner it spoils the teamwork,i would dearly have liked to answer this person back in the same manner but i knew i was going to be in for a few days and didn't want to make waves . Overall if you need to be in Hospital this is the one it should be.
