About: Spire Wellesley Hospital

I took my 2 month old son to a consultant paediatrician who was fantastic. My little boy was diagnosed with having silent reflux and a milk allergy. I was very happy. I was told a letter would go to my gp confirming this and all was well. Until i went to do a repeat prescription for my sons milk and was told in not so many terms they dont understand why we need the milk. It has since transpired that they never recieved the letter. I called up the Wellesley to get another copy for the doctors surgery. I was told that i would have to call a mobile number for their secretary. I have been trying for 4 days left numerous voicemails and the phone is constantly turned off. I cannot get any more milk until i have got this letter in hand. I think it is disgraceful that the doctors still haven't received the letter. Let alone had no phone calls returned. When I have called the hospital up again they said that that is the only number that they have so they cant help at all. Disgusting service!

We apologise for any undue distress that may have been caused to you when you were trying to attain the copy of the letter that your chosen consultant sends to the GP after a consultation, with the information for a repeat prescription for your son. We have since spoken with the secretary on your behalf and understand she has now sent a copy of the letter in question to your GP and hope you have now been able to get the repeat prescription for your son. Once again, we are sorry for the distress and difficulties caused.
