Sought help following a car accident for neck pain. Made it clear this was not an accident involving another party so nothing to do with trying to claim anything from anywhere. Subject to cursory examination and doctor said I needed an MRI scan as they suspected a neck disc issue. The doctor said they would ask gp to organise it. 6 weeks later still nothing organised as gp and hospital refer me to and fro between them and nothing happens at all. It then emerges that an mri scan last year showed there was already a prolapsed disc in the area causing issues. This had remained unresolved as it was misreported to the gp who didn't know about it and assumed the scan to be clear. Condition still currently deteriorating but still unable to actually access treatment 6 weeks later. I'm guessing it's about budgets and the fact that the right hand and left hand in this system just don't communicate. It's really not good enough.
"Not really good enough"
