I have just came off the phone with a very rude and Cold voiced receptionist on the phone. I was in pain and was told to go in to the hospital if I experienced any one of 3 things. The problem is my flat is on the 4th floor with no lifts so I asked for advice as I could not kept coming and going back and forth as it's difficult going up and down the stairs when your days away from giving birth. But instead of giving me an advice when I most needed it they kept saying "if your sick then you need to come to the hospital and if your not then stay home it's as simple as that" in an unsympathetic voice. I'm not sure if these nurses are over worked or that's just how they are. I spoke to another receptionist but they spoke courteously but this one was rude and when I asked for their name they put the phone down and kept hanging on me everytime I phone. I think they can see my number on their system. This needs to be addressed. I can't believe we have 3rd world service in a first world country especially in a place where woman need the most help. This is my first pregnancy and I am left clueless not knowing what to do.
