"Thought I'd had minor stroke."

About: Scunthorpe General Hospital

On 17th April 2015 I awoke to find the left side of my face not working. I thought I'd had a minor stroke. Ambulance crew were pretty certain that it wasn't but was Bell's Palsy. Hospital did various tests including brain scan and confirmed it was Bell's Palsy. I am physically disabled so routine things are a little tougher for me sometimes than for mister Joe Average, but the staff could not have been pleasanter or more helpful. I was in their care for approx four hours and at no point did I feel lonely, abandoned, forgotten or ignored. Sincere thank you to the staff that looked after me that day. I apologize that I can't recall their names but their assistance was much appreciated. Thank you, from little Ken.

Hi Ken, thank you so much for taking the time to post this review. It's always such a pleasure to hear from patients who have had a positive experience at what is often such a stressful time. Your comments have been shared with the team, who will I'm sure really appreciate your thanks. Best wishes, Sarah Mainprize
