"Awful"

About: Bishop Auckland Hospital

Having called 111 with some issues I'd been having over 2 weeks they told me I must be seen within 2 hours. I was at work and didn't particularly want to take time off however I took their advice and arranged the appointment with urgent care. Once in with the Doctor I have never been spoken to in such an appalling manner by anyone let alone a Doctor. They didn't even let me finish telling them what was wrong with me before they proceeded to tell me I was stupid and did not need to be in urgent care and that's not what they were here for. What happened after this I can only describe as a 15 minute lecture. Now who's wasting who's time? I was not examened, the doctor did not even know the full extent of my symptoms which included dizziness and faintness. I proceeded to get up and walk out. I have never felt so small, humiliated and belittled ever which really isn't what I needed. I didn't even make it out the hospitals doors before I burst into tears. This was my first trip to urgent care and I would have to be dying to return. Even then I'd think twice just incase I was wasting their precious time!
