I atended NEL TC in May 2015 for the removal of my gall bladder. I was most impressed with the efficiency and care when I came for my preoperative check - everyone very kind and process smooth, informative and little waiting. This gave me a bit more confidence when I came in for surgery - always stressful. From the moment I arrived a nurse appeared helped me get changed and told me about timing. Visited by surgeon pre and post operation, by anaesthetist who remembered me from preop assessment and was chatted to by kind nurses prior to surgery. Very reassuring. After the operation I had excellent care and again was treated with great kindness by everyone. I had an overnight stay. Ward very clean. Food very nice and cheerfully given out. Discharge process sw!ift and information plentiful and helpful. Very grateful to everyone. Thank you. Sue
