"Losing my baby!!"

About: Queen's Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I found out I was pregnant fri 15th. I started bleeding mon 18th went straight to queens as my first pregnancy and was told for 10yrs I cant have kids. Sat there for 9hrs before I collapsed in the waiting room and was taken in my security in a wheel chair! All they did was scan me they couldn't see anything and asked I came back the following morning to have another internal and blood tests. I've been back to Queens everyday since mon. They did 2 lots of bloods and said my hormone levels had risen and they was happy, they ruled out blood clots and eptopic. I went back on Thurs suffering back and shoulder pain, had chest x-rays, more blood tests and was told all clear and to go home again. Fri I went into have another internal scan as they thought they would now be able to see the baby. I was told it is actually eptopic and that they would need to remove my baby and the tubes! I waited 4 hours for my op and was kept in overnight. Was sent home today barely being able to walk and still in agony. I've been on morphine before I left, but was sent home without a doctor seeing me and given a packet of 25p paracetemols which i'm swallowing like smarties, cos the pain is unbearable. So, not happy with this hospital and would never come back again. Will be sticking to Basildon in future. How can u be told all week everything is fine to have to have my baby and tubes removed 5 days later. Appalling place! !
