"disgusted with aintree hospitals"

About: University Hospital Aintree / Urology

(as the patient),

I was blue lighted to hospital and to cut a long story short was diagnosed with renal colic and had two small stones in my ureter.

when my pain subsided I was advised I coukd go home with an appointment being sent within a week to see a urologist ....everybody in surgical assessment was being told the same thing.

I came home with buscopan and a limited amount of codeine.

after not recieving my appointment within a week I telephoned urology to be told no referral had been recieved.

I telephoned sau to be told referral had been sent.

I asked could they send it again as urology definitely hadnt had it.

I have been in pain for over 3 weeks now..still no appointment.

my partner is waiting for a follow up cardiology appointment with increasing shortness of breath.

she was seen in october and told she would be seen in four months.

after repeated phone calls and staff promising an appointment in a couple of weeks ...she still has not got a follow up appointment.

it is now the 23 of may.

I am disgusted with aintree hospitals ..they are still putting peoples lives at risk and failing in patient care.
