What I liked
My young son was airlifted to this hospital following an accident. He was treated first in A&E and then in the childrens ward. I cannot fault any of the staff that we encountered, who took excellent care of him and kept us informed as much as possible.
The staff in A&E also went out of their way to help look after our other child and reassure him.
The high level of care continued on the childrens ward. I was also very impressed with the facilities here, including a playroom and a small garden with toys.
All in all I was very impressed with the treament received at this hospital.
What could be improved
A fairly minor gripe but some areas of the hospital seemed a little run down, and some parts could have been cleaner.
