What I liked

Doctors an consultants are very nice and informative.My daughter been looked after for the past five years by same consultant and she loves coming back.he really takes care of his patients.

What could be improved

Nurses don't communicate one telling one thing another making just decision's regardless consultant directions.My daughter had an operation in the C&W hospital it's a third one so i know what is happening after and what needs to be done but no one listen just paperwork that's it.we been nearly kicked out from the hospital because child felt OK after surgery, and no one cares what will happen when we go home.When she had last two operations she had to take antibiotics and pain killers for 7 days and appointments for dressing change but NOW no medication at all not seen the surgeons about operation and event no one arranged an appointment for dressing change i had to phone all possible departments and get transferred from one department to another for half hour to get that arranged. Even before operation the nurses was instructed that consultant assisting nurse has to do dressing changes but no one care, or take a lot of notice of that, just do what THEY want. Put my daughter's name in the book and said that some one will ring with the appointment for dressing change but no one did.

Anything else?

So I am really upset and now I will see what will happen next but i don't think that i would like to go back to this ward for another operation again.
