What could be improved

My referral was lost if I had not enquired why I had not received an appointment I would have still been waiting. I waited 5 months anyway just to be referred onto someone else although this was only said verbally. No letter after weeks for my GP so I asked for a copy to be faxed to my GP as I was told there was one but no fax was sent and still no original letter either.

The same thing happened some years ago their letter went missing.

This hospital needs to realise that patients with long term problems are in need of help.

5 months waiting for an appointment just to be put back on a waiting list is not acceptable when you have as I have been in this situation for 10 years. More compassion is needed as to what the patient is going through.
