"Outpatient scan and procedure"

An appointment in Gynaecology for internal ultra scan and consultation. I was absolutely dreading this visit but everyone was so kind and respectful that I was somewhat comforted. It all turned out to be more than I had bargained for with two doctors investigating and then the consultant carrying out a procedure. It was very painful but the efficient manner and obvious expertise gave me confidence that it would soon be finished. Obviously, I do not wish to repeat the episode but I have to say that I had a feeling of safety and security with people who treated me as a person and also knew their job. Thank you to the doctor and all their team.
