We spent 4 nights on ward 17 with our 6 month old daughter. We have been high users of the nhs since her birth and although we have been very satisfied with all her care, our stay on ward 17 was the best we have experienced. Every doctor and nurse was attentive, skilful and kind and we felt very safe. The ward is organised and calm even when it is under high pressure. The care was very patient centred and consistent and we got the impression that there is strong leadership.
