"Big thank you to the Whittington Maternity team"

It's my second baby but first at the Whittington and I am so happy to have chosen the Whittington for my maternity care as it has been nothing but excellent. Everyone from midwifes to consultants to receptionists have always been friendly, helpful and so respectful. I felt listened to and understood, which makes such a difference. Antenatal care was wonderful. I mainly saw one amazing community midwife and due to an infection also the consultant at the Fetal Medicine department. As with many births it didn't go to plan, however I felt baby and I were safe at all times. We were on the labour ward and had two brilliant midwifes with the consultants and pediatrician at our side as soon as needed. I loved that my partner was allowed to stay with us after birth, as with my first son he had to leave soon after, leaving me an emotional wreck. The facilities of the post natal ward are a bit of a let down but staff on the ward were very supportive. Thank you for looking after us so well!
