"A&E"

About: Moorfields Eye Hospital (City Road Campus)

I went to Moorfield's A&E with my husband, who suspected he had a retinal detachment. It was a very busy Sunday for the department, so we had to wait four hours. And though the wait was long and boring, I am very thankful to the NHS in general and Moorfield's in particular: the staff were courteous and efficient, the treatment received was excellent, and frankly, where else in the world can you get free at the point of access medical treatment of this kind? Hurray for our NHS and hurray for Moorfield's.

I'm glad we were able to help your husband. I will pass your praise on to the A&E team.
