Sunday 17th May evening I visited the A&E dept as advised by 111. Firstly welcomed by a receptionist who was perfectly helpful, took my papers and sat down and waited to be seen by triage. At this point it went down hill. I was called in by a member of staff (who I'm guessing was a volunteer) rather scruffy and seemed to have no interest what so ever about his job or life in general. After being asked 'what's wrong,' I explained my symptoms to which their reply was 'is that it?' I was made to feel worthless and like I was wasting there time. After a fairly long wait (as expected) a doctor/nurse greeted me and was very kind, restoring some faith.
